With a wing loading of about 5-1/2 oz / sq ft this sailplane will climb in the lightest of lift. Construction is a tough molded “Elapor” foam, which is damage resistant. The wing features an undercambered airfoil for good low-speed lift and a gentle stall. The Easy Glider’s wing panels slide onto carbon tube spar and are removable for easy transport and storage. Molded parts are “keyed” together for quick, warp free assembly, servo locations are molded in. The sailplane can be launched with a Hi-start (HIS002), hand towed with the included handle and line, aerotowed, or slope soared on the lift generated by a hill with wind blowing into it. The model is designed for 4 channels of control: aileron (2 servos), elevator, rudder.
