Beginning in 1968 the L39 Albatros was built as a jet trainer and light duty attack jet. It is currently the most widely-used jet trainer in the world and still sees duty in more than 30 air forces. This jet’s price and availability to civilians led to the L-39 Jet Unlimited class at the Reno Air Races. Featured in RC Sport Flyer (June 2008)
